About the Author

Oh, what could be said about the man behind all this magic…

I am a “Technology Specialist”, meaning the generic sysadmin jack-of-all-trades type, who has been working in education for ten years. Chances are that if it can plug into the wall, I have been asked to fix it. I have worked in both public and private schools and have learned that both have their merits. I have also learned that funding alone is never the answer.

I am a new father. My son was born in August of ’08. It’s been a revelation on life itself, and also a relief that it is nowhere near as difficult as it has been made out to be, at least to me. My son is awesome and a delight to watch learn and grow. I cannot wait to try and keep up with him.

My interests vary greatly, from food to technology to politics to things my students tell me about (some of which will blow your mind). I plan on touching on a little bit of everything here hoping that it will pique your interests as well. If you like stuff, comment. But, please, remember what our mothers taught us. If you’ve nothing nice to say, shut up and go away.
